1.2. Response Criteria Evaluated Not all databases were assessed for all response outcomes. At the outset of this process, the most interest was in the assessment of complete plus partial response rate comparisons by both the WHO and new RECIST criteria. Once these data suggested no impact of using the new criteria on the response rate, several more databases were analyzed for the impact of the use of the new criteria not only on complete response plus partial response but also on stable disease and progressive disease rates (see Appendix V, Table 4) and on time to disease progression (see Appendix V, Table 5).
